SIUE has gotten better with time. I went to school there in 2012 and had a horrible experience as a transfer student. I felt like no one cared about transfer students and only cared about the incoming freshmen. This time around It feels like with them adding success to coaches and the fact that I have a specific academic advisor I have the tools to succeed and have the support that is needed.
Must love walking and the geese rule the roads.
I've taken in-person and online classes taught by great instructors. The science department has been very helpful to me in figuring out my degree options, and the facilities are made available to everyone.
Some of the advising staff are hard to work with and the campus can be difficult to navigate if you have not found your classes beforehand.
