Poster Studio Express Visual Education Scholarship
A student’s K-12 years are some of the most important in their life, establishing a foundation of knowledge that they will draw upon in all of their future endeavors.
To maximize a student’s learning potential, it’s critical for teachers to understand the unique learning styles that come with youth. Visual learning is a critical way to capture a child’s attention and impart important concepts. Teachers who maximize the use of their classrooms to improve learning, communication, and student success can make all the difference in the experiences of young students.
This scholarship aims to support students who are pursuing careers in youth education and who will go above and beyond to help their students learn.
Any high school senior or undergraduate student who is pursuing a career in K-12 education may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
To apply, design an educational poster that teaches a specific, recognized K-12 curriculum standard (e.g., Common Core Math, Next Generation Science Standards, or a specific state-level historical standard) and upload it below.
Additionally, write a 500-word essay telling us the strategy behind your design. Your essay must address which curriculum standard you chose, how the visual elements help students comprehend and retain the concept, and why visual learning is important in K-12 classrooms.

The winner will be publicly announced on Jul 30, 2026. Prior to the announcement date, we may contact finalists with additional questions about their application. We will work with donors to review all applications according to the scholarship criteria. Winners will be chosen based on the merit of their application.
Award checks will be sent to the financial aid office of the winner's academic institution or future academic institution in their name to be applied to their tuition, and in the name of their institution (depending on the school's requirements). If the award is for a qualified educational non-tuition expense, we will work with the winner directly to distribute the award and make sure it goes towards qualified expenses.
Before we award the scholarship, the winner will be required to confirm their academic enrollment status. Depending on the circumstances, verification of Student ID and/or their most recent transcript will be required.
