I read books multiple times a month.
My long-term goal is to become an elementary school teacher who supports not only students’ academic growth, but also their emotional well-being and sense of belonging. I believe education is one of the most powerful ways to create lasting change, especially for children from underserved communities. What drives me most is the belief that every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and capable of success. I am especially interested in working with students who face barriers such as poverty, instability, or limited access to resources. These challenges often affect learning in ways that go unnoticed, and I want to be the kind of educator who recognizes those struggles and responds with patience, understanding, and high expectations. My passion for teaching comes from a desire to be a steady, encouraging presence in students’ lives—someone who helps them build confidence in themselves and their futures. I have learned the value of perseverance, responsibility, and resilience. I balance my academic goals with financial responsibilities, which has strengthened my work ethic and commitment to education. These experiences have shaped me into someone who does not take opportunities for granted and who is deeply motivated to give back to others. I approach my education with purpose, knowing it is not only an investment in my future, but in the futures of the students I hope to serve.
