Frequently Asked Questions
Each year, numerous organizations, educational institutions, and foundations provide scholarships to assist students in their academic pursuits. These scholarships may be recurring, with recipients receiving the award annually for their academic degree, or they can be one-time awards given annually. In the case of one-time awards, a new scholarship with the same name may be presented to different individuals each year, or new scholarships from the same donor may be introduced. Here at Bold.org, we have numerous scholarships with varying criteria and opportunities.
While deadlines differ for each scholarship, it seems most align with the college admissions season, typically between October and March. However, at Bold.org, we believe any month is the best month to apply for scholarships! We encourage applying for scholarships throughout the year because continuously seeking opportunities increases your chances of winning.
Every scholarship will include a list of eligibility requirements in the description. Eligible students must meet all of the criteria to qualify and apply, so read carefully! Some scholarships have a wide range of eligibility requirements and are less competitive as a result. The fewer eligible applicants a scholarship has, the better your chances of winning will be.
