These schools are similar to University of Akron Main Campus in key aspects like size, setting, and academics.

Honestly, the speech was my favorite class. Most people hate it but I loved it because the teacher was brand new and didn't know what she was doing. So I got to test my knowledge of what I knew about Batman since I collected it. I also met my two best friends in that class.
Didn't care for ethics or passionate economics because the teachers were terrible at teaching and holding the class's attention and focus.
Since I am used to the layouts around the campus, I would say it's pretty good to experience an education here.
My experience at the University of Akron overall has been phenomenal. It is a very focused academic environment, and there are lots of opportunities for students to receive academic aid. The campus is located in the city, so off-campus does not feel as safe as on-campus where UAPD patrol and keep the campus safe.
Overall, there isn't anything that I strongly dislike about the UA Main Campus or Academic program, but I do wish there was more of an outlet for student feedback.
I liked the dorm rooms, but not the dorm experience. I liked that the no credit or very low academic classes I took were set up so if you try hard enough, you can pass without having to ace every test. If you take Basic Math 1, take it from Bonnie in Polsky.
I didn't like how little communication about activities there is. I do not feel welcome or included in dorm activities. There were no ice breaker activities or ways to meet people on campus. Many professors I've had have poorly planned out courses with little to no planning.
I am a current sophomore going into my junior year of the Aerospace Systems engineering degree offered by the university and its a great opportunity to learn the aerospace field with coop education work periods built in for you to be able to learn the field while in school
If you chose the Aero degree, it is a lot to deal with.
It is accessible downtown and has a walkable campus.
The University of Akron has activities for both commuters and on-campus students. I thought it was special that they took the time to highlight the commuting students.
