It's a very beautiful campus and I really like how many professors do their best to help you when you need it
Sometimes things are explained poorly, I recommend asking as many questions as you need
I like the academic programs.
The campus is very small and isolated. There isn't really anything to do besides go to class or go to the bars, which is why it easily becomes a party school. If you're not a party person, you will get bored and lonely very quickly. Find a way to bring a car with you.
Ohio University is the most beautiful college campus I've ever seen. The environment is very friendly and welcoming. There is a lot to do here. I love the school of Journalism and am proud to be a part of it.
Be aware of the cost, Ohio University is very pricey.
Ohio University is a gorgeous area for students to explore. Not only are there endless opportunities to meet other students, but there are also endless places to have fun. There are thousands of students, so that means larger classrooms. This can either be a good thing or a bad thing. For me, I grew up in a small town school, so I am missing out on the one-on-one connections you can make with your teachers. The last note I would add about Ohio University is that anyone will help you in your time of need, you just can't be afraid of stepping outside of your comfort zone!
I prefer some of the teachers to make more of an effort to connect with their students. The program advisors can be lazy at times and if you commute to college you tend to not make as many friends. As most of those connections come from outside activities.
I love the at-home feel of the campus. Even though there is a little around campus, Ohio university feels like its own bubble. The brick roads and older buildings make the campus feel like a college.
I have had struggles with fitting in certain classes, but that should be expected at most colleges
At Ohio University you can not go wrong with the overall ambiance and history here. The academics really depend on professors, the buildings are rather old and sometimes outdated. The food is good but it is nothing like a home-cooked meal. I have enjoyed my time here and I have met some of my best friends in just a year I've been here.
Be aware that this campus is not modern and new. It is very old and you can see that. Once you get past the outdated architecture and the occasional water damage spot in the ceiling it's a very nice campus and it is beyond beautiful.
