WHAT I LIKED

I like that I've been able to make a few close friends.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

I don't like that none of the campus restaurants are open after around nine. The dorm you get is also incredibly luck-based, and many of them are of low quality at a staggeringly high price.

WHAT I LIKED

Nice and big campus with plenty of things to see and do. Massive circle of friends

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Paying for COTA even though I never use it. Also the automatic gym enrollment

3.0

WHAT I LIKED

I love the city and the social aspect. There is always something to do and ways to meet new people which is crucial in networking and well-being in college to have a good support system.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

I unfortunately transferred in the height of covid. Though OSU was doing everything they could, classes through zoom were very hard.

WHAT I LIKED

The student culture and population were friendly, and from my perspective, the university staff was welcoming and helpful. The quality of the food in the dining halls could be improved, but there were many options across campus for students with food restrictions. As an older campus, some dorms and buildings were old, but OSU is actively updating the campus.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Access to mental health services was awful. Many students needed to talk to a professional provided by Ohio State to manage their mental health. Often, a student would be on the waitlist for months, and would rarely receive proper help unless they were extremely suicidal. Sometimes the meat on campus would still be raw. Though, I never experienced this issue.

WHAT I LIKED

Honestly, I have had an accessional time here at The Ohio State University. I have been able to get involved in various on-campus activities. The Student Life Center offers many different student organizations and events to attend all year round to make your social and academic life very well supported.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

I didn't like the size of the campus at first since my classes are sometimes a 20-minute walk from each other. However, there are various forms of transportation that the university provides on and off-campus.
