They are very willing to help me when needed and offer many different services for their students.

It’s close to where I live. There aren’t too many colleges in the city of Yakima.

WHAT I LIKED

I like how they offered a variety of online classes for those who are more cautious with covid. They were always so understanding about weather situations as well as internet issues.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

How some professors were not the best at getting back to us when we had questions. It was difficult to get stuff done when we would be confused and the professor would not respond.

WHAT I LIKED

The social aspect among students was nice because I was fortunate enough to attend classes with some people I went to high school with. The educators were amazing, and I only had struggles with one professor. Overall, this is a fair school and is a great option for students to apply to if they are unsure about attending a four-year university!

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

I had trouble with advising and really felt alone sometimes. My advisors treated me like just another number, and it would take weeks sometimes just to get a response. This was extremely disheartening and off-putting for a student who needed help.

WHAT I LIKED

The running start program for high school students is very beneficial. It is a less pricey option and is a great alternative to doing a full four years of college.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Many of the teachers do not seem to care about the students, and the advisors do not always seem to be accurate in their class choices for your degree.
