Since 1890, Whitworth University has held fast to its founding mission to provide "an education of mind and heart" through rigorous intellectual inquiry guided by dedicated Christian scholars.
In all of its endeavors, Whitworth seeks to advance its founder's mission of equipping students to "honor God, follow Christ, and serve humanity."
Meeting students wherever they are in their faith journey, Whitworth challenges all students to ask big questions, to engage perspectives different from their own, and to think hard about what they believe and why they believe it. In all of its 100 academic programs, Whitworth offers small classes, personal attention from faculty, and abundant experiential learning opportunities.
The Whitworth University Mind & Heart Scholarship is designed to support one student who’s interested in an education that challenges them to think hard about what they believe and why they believe it. All high school students with Whitworth University as a college of interest are eligible to apply.
