Can an international student get a job as a pilot in the USA after doing bachelors in aviation in USA?
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Daytona Beach
Hi Prashant - International students may be eligible to stay in the US and work for up to 36 months on their student visa through OPT - STEM Extension. This needs to be approved by the US Gov and is not guaranteed. Students may pursue the CFI track during Flight and interview to secure a position in the ERAU flight department as a CFI post-graduation. There are select regional carriers that hire international students and we encourage all international students to do their research prior to coming to the US to pursue their degree program.

WHAT I LIKED

It's my first year here and I really like it for its academic purposes, not so much its social life. If you like everyone else thinking that they're the very best no contest all the time then this college is for you.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Social life here is not the best, as a lot of effort is made by the college to be social but to no avail.

WHAT I LIKED

Embry has honed my drive to be the best in my field. Great atmosphere, dedicated staff, and a safe place to learn.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Can we get more of a food selection?

4.0

WHAT I LIKED

Embry-Riddle is a great school for those who love to learn, and who love aviation. There are so many intelligent people and creative clubs. The social life at the riddle leaves something to be desired. It is definitely not a party school, which could be a good or bad thing for you. Also, the fact that only a quarter of the student body is female adds to its immature nerdy feel of it.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

I only food option is open past 9:00 pm and it is kind of bad. I hear they change it semester to semester, so next year it might be better.

WHAT I LIKED

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) is a great place for students who have a strong work ethic, and are sure they are able to carry out the tasks required to obtain their degree. Like any other STEM major, it is not easy, but absolutely worth it. Once a student gets their diploma, the name on the paper will speak for itself.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

This is not a typical college experience. There aren't countless parties to go to, or football games every weekend. There is a lot of studying, but with the right mindset, there is plenty of fun to be had.

WHAT I LIKED

It is a good school.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

It was a little small.
