I love the academics of UNI, I don't have much experience in the social aspect of the school.
Increase the observations of current professors to ensure the best teaching.
I wish there are more resources for first generation students but the school is okay overall.
First generation students needs more support and guidance.
I love the class, professors, people, and food. I met so many amazing people at UNI that will be lifelong friends!
The dorms aren’t great and the dining halls are never open when you need them to be.
There are many options for various students depending on their needs. There are many degrees you can get online, more than most schools I know. If you go in person, the classroom can range from very large to medium size. The college is surrounded by many businesses as well. So, if you are done with school a person can just walk a few minutes to the nearest restaurant.
Most of the in-person classes I think are very very large. Normally when I think of an in-person class here, I think a hundred students in one room.
UNI is the perfect sized campus for me. There are always new faces, but my classes are with the same cohort which makes developing relationships very easy. The buildings are beautiful, but a few are slightly outdated. There are plans to renovate and update a new building every few years. Technology is freely accessible all over campus.
Since the pandemic and lack of on-campus student workers, there aren't as many food options open on campus as there used to be.
The amount of fun and eye-opening opportunities and activities to do, academic and health support, and general helpfulness of people. The school really cares about the quality of its student-life
