My education experience at South Texas College was very calm. My professors were very professional and understanding.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

There is one thing I don’t like about South Texas College which is their security personnel. They need more personnel at the road crossings.

WHAT I LIKED

It's a small college which means the class is much smaller than in other schools. This makes the professors and your classmates know you and help you, overall the social aspect is pretty good. I suggest that you do your core classes here since it's much cheaper than transferring to another college like UTRGV. Unfortunately, STC doesn't really have that many opportunities beyond the core.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

The campus is very beautiful and quite small, so getting around is very easy. Classes are very small so be prepared to participate.

WHAT I LIKED

I think its academics are fair. I have only been on visits to the campus and had classes held online and at my high school.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

It is primarily focused on academics and no social life.
