WHAT I LIKED

I particularly didn't fit in Morgan State. For particular students who are interested in particular things, socially and academically. Morgan might not be the school for some students. Just like any other institution, looking at professors, majors and, opportunities is important. Also just like any other institution, you might run into professors who are amazing and some that are downright horrible.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Even though some buildings are new and improved. Some buildings are awful. The dorms can be horrid at times. The institution is in Baltimore and not a particularly safe part of Baltimore either. There are off-campus parties and such but your safety is not always guaranteed. Besides the campus, there is not much to do off it so you really can't call it a "college town". Morgan State offices are terrible. Period plain and simple. They misplace information and happen to be a "money first" institution.

WHAT I LIKED

In all honesty Morgan State University feels like home. I am comfortable and feel safe. It is fun, exciting, and very easy to meet new people. The only down fall is that the financial aid office can be a lot better.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

The financial aid office is very last minute and not very helpful. You feel as though you have to rush to put together money which can definitely get you unfocused.

WHAT I LIKED

I would recommend this school. The people on campus are very social and make you feel at home. There is always an event so you could never be bored. Education-wise, the school is good too. You could take classes either online or in person. The teachers are good at making sure you understand the content taught. The only thing I wish they had were more food options.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

I think prospective students should be aware of the cost of attendance. The school could be kind of costly, so apply to as many scholarships as you could.

WHAT I LIKED

Professors are fair and helpful. Good balance of lecture, homework, and projects. Administration responsive when you have questions. Socially it's been challenging due to pandemics. I'm out of state and a transfer student and have not connected with others from my home state.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Housing could be better.

What I love about Morgan State University is that it creates a family environment between professors and students. My experiences so far have been excellent. Generally, college is as easy or as fun as you make it. I have been utilizing the resources that are available on campus. I love my Morgan family and nothing is like being a morganite. Many opportunities are offered as well as support. I highly recommend the illustrious Morgan State University!

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

The only thing that could be better about Morgan State University is its financial aid. Their financial aid is a bit unorganized.
