When it comes time to pursue higher education, many students start out several steps ahead of their peers.
Students from middle or upper-income homes and those who have college-educated parents benefit from significant financial and mentorship advantages that make it easier to navigate the college application process, make connections, and pay tuition.
This scholarship aims to make higher education more accessible by supporting students from first-generation or single-income homes.
Any high school senior or undergraduate student with at least a 2.0 GPA in MD, DC, VA, NJ, or DE who’s from a single-parent household or is a first-generation student may apply for this scholarship.
