As a Freshman Commuter, there are a lot of opportunities with events that help you connect with other students and commuters as well.
I like that I get to have professors who are in the business of media and can teach me knowledgeable information that I can use in the future.
Probably the lack of food areas.
Montclair State University has given me the chance to utilize my skills and abilities through different curriculums.
There is nothing that I don't like about Montclair State University
I like how diverse the school is and how the faculty is always there for you. The campus environment is also so positive and clean, it is a very nice ambiance to be around.
The only thing I would complain about is not having as many healthy options to choose from when it comes to food. I found it difficult to balance my meals properly.
I absolutely love Montclair State. The classes are amazing. the professors are great at getting the students to talk and make friends.
One thing that is annoying is parking.
I've been going to Montclair State University for almost a year so far. It's a great school and a lot of my teachers within my majors are really nice people. The food that they serve could be a little better but the good thing about that is there are many options to choose from. My social life for me personally isn't all as pleasing as I want it to be. The dorms is pretty good and in most of the rooms, you get your own bathroom so that's a plus!
Work: No matter what major or what class you register for, the workload will always pile up if you're not consistent. Social: It's harder making friends in college because everyone stays to themselves and tries to stick with what and who they know. Try joining clubs or organizations to try and make friends. Walking: Montclair is really big, it's a lot of walking up and down many hills. Use shuttle buses (free transportation) if really needed.
