100% of students
Being at Merrimack College felt like being home. The small campus allowed for easy transportation between academic buildings, "hang out" spaces where I would meet with friends or groups, and my friends' residence halls. There was always something to do and people around that I felt comfortable with.
Merrimack is all about growth right now and sometimes, that felt like they were ignoring the needs of current students. Money is being funneled into new and better things instead of being used for repair or renovation. It seemed like there was always a disconnect between students and the folks in charge of different areas.
Merrimack College was my second choice originally but quickly became my home away from home. The campus is small enough where you can make friends easily, but large enough that you don't know everyone. I always felt included at Merrimack and the opportunities are endless.
The food quality is not great and the campus is predominantly white. Diversity is a huge issue at Merrimack.
I have had a warm and welcoming experience at Merrimack College. As soon as my first tour everyone was incredibly sweet and I continue to experience that now. The majority of my professors are caring and helpful. Merrimack offers all kinds of services and care to ensure you feel safe and comfortable, and have access to any help you may need.
I am a picky eater but the food could be better. But the dining hall employees are extremely nice and work so hard.
