WHAT I LIKED

Teachers and counselors are not always the easiest to deal with but honestly, overall, not a bad school. Social life is very promising and the campus is very pretty to hang out at!

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Teachers and counselors were hard to get into contact with sometimes and seemed like they didn’t care to help

WHAT I LIKED

I like how easy they made it for me to navigate what courses I needed to transfer to a university.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Irvine Valley College is pretty small so there isn't a big social community but if your goal is to focus on school and then transfer out that might be better for you.

WHAT I LIKED

The education was good, however, my experience was completely online due to the pandemic. I enjoyed my time playing soccer for IVC, although it took up a lot of my time. I felt that a good amount of the professors were understanding of the circumstances during the pandemic.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

I think that prospective students should be aware of advisors not looking out for students' futures, and do not help out very much when it comes to making a transfer plan.

WHAT I LIKED

Irvine Valley College has given me 2 years of free tuition and aided my supplies as well. I was able to gain access to mental health resources and joined clubs that were important to me. There were many free resources such as tutoring, computer loans, and study spaces.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Make sure you always meet with your counselor to see how your academic plan is going!
