I always really liked that Holy Family has very descriptive majors for any path you want to take. For instance, just with being a biology major alone, you also have options to be a biology pre-physical therapy major, a biology pre-physician major, or even a biology premed major like I am. I think that this makes it a lot easier for students to get into the career field they want to.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
Some of the staff members are very stuck in their ways, in my first year and a half at holy family our grading system was the same that it has been for at least 20 years and it was an Ivy League grading scale. In the spring semester of my sophomore year is when they actually changed the grading system after several complaints from faculty and students.
Holy Family University is a very dignified and unity-based University. The surrounding area is beautiful. However, be careful when taking Nursing as a major. Nursing classes in this University are very strict about getting over with.
