100% of students
It’s a small community college so all of the classes are small which makes learning easier. All of the professors are very educated and passionate.
There are not a lot of social events
A lot of the professors have advanced degrees and are full-time professors. Most will respond with useful feedback and have in-person office hours if you have questions. There are many resources in the library and online to help with research. It is much cheaper and closer than other colleges.
Social clubs barely exist, and those that do are very niche. There are a lot of classes at HCC, but they're still adding curriculum-relevant classes, so when you transfer, you need to make sure you've taken everything you could at HCC. It's a two-year college.
I believe any student thinking about joining Harford Community College will have no regrets about their decision. My time here at HCC has been filled with many great teachers and staff members. Continuing, the students at HCC are very friendly and dedicated to success like me.
I have no current complaints about HCC.
It is a very welcoming school with plenty of great opportunities.
There are no dorms since it is a community college. So ways of travel should be put into perspective.
