ESU offers great academics to students who are looking for a local college to get a degree in, pecifically for education or rehab majors. ESU has an excellent program that gets you into the field within your first year, and during your senior year, you either student teach or participate in an internship. Overall, ESU is a great place to be.
Personally, commuting is a huge struggle for me. It has put a limit on how many clubs and organizations I participate in as well as how much socialization I do on campus.
East Stroudsburg continues to improve the atmosphere and education for thousands of students every year. Truthfully, the campus has specific outdated buildings in the mix of newly built structures. The campus isn't too large or too small.
The D2L learning experience was very foreign compared to other education-based software programs.
I have really enjoyed my first year here at ESU.
Throughout my first year, every resource I could possibly need was put in front of me. No matter what kind of trouble I was having, there was something ESU had that could help. Likeminded people are around every corner willing to give a helping hand. The professors are great, and the curriculum is very easy to understand.
Many people will complain just to complain, or go out of their way to find something to complain about. The way a class is taught might not be the best way for you yourself to learn.
