I personally have enjoyed the liveliness of being on campus. Everyone is usually friendly and willing to lend a helping hand if needed. The professors I have had the opportunity to work with so far are excellently skilled in their field and have such an abundance of credible expertise to share with everyone.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
Some of the campuses have places that close really early, especially on Fridays, which can be inconvenient if one is staying there to study at their 24/7 hour AIRC building.
CSUS offers a beautiful campus filled with all different types of trees and architectural beauties. There are so many dining options and fun things to do nearby!
CSUS is an amazing school. I have never heard anyone who has been a student at Sac State and said they did not like it. It is a beautiful campus, there is diversity and inclusivity, all students are very nice and respectful, and lastly, our president is awesome! It is obvious that he cares about the students that go to Sacramento State and wants everyone to have a great experience!
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
Something to be aware of is making sure you are taking the correct classes for your major, it is fairly easy to get an appointment with a counselor but keep in mind that some things take more time than others. When in doubt, ask questions!
Overall for my first year at Sacramento State, It has been a very great environment and I love the people and the teachers in which everyone is really friendly.
