The growth taught me the chance to receive 3 AA degrees debt-free.

Stay focused and remember it is junk but when you graduate you won't have debt.

WHAT I LIKED

This is a two-year college. It is perfect because it is a part of the Los Rios college system. This system allows you to enroll and find classes at all 4 colleges. All credits accumulated across the different schools can be applied toward your degree.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

I did struggle to find the right college counselor to answer my questions pertaining to a specific program I was interested in. Otherwise, I spent many of my courses online and didn’t experience the in-person classes too much. My opinion on the campuses is limited.

American River College has given me a chance to find a community within the school, build friendships over the years, bonds with teachers, as well great job opportunities.
