How to find 3.0 GPA scholarships

Students with a grade point average of 3.0 or above can find a scholarship program by browsing the Bold.org scholarships page. It may be helpful to search the Categories tab for topics relevant to you and your interests. Make sure to toggle the Status to "Open" to make sure you are only looking at scholarships that are still accepting applications.

Because of their high GPA, students may find themselves eligible for scholarship programs with minimum GPA requirements.

Remember to also check your university's financial aid office for more information on the financial aid options available for you.

What about scholarships without a GPA requirement?

Many scholarships don't have a specific minimum GPA requirement. This is because there are many other factors that impact a student's academic success, and thus should be included in evaluations.

Some of these factors include class rank, SAT and/or ACT scores, previous classes taken, and letters of recommendation. GPA alone doesn't paint a full picture of a student's academic abilities, so many decision panels have adapted to evaluating applications holistically and avoiding putting too much weight on one facet of a student's application.

When can I start applying?

Students over 14 years of age are eligible to begin applying for scholarship aid. It's never too early to begin funding your higher education. High school students, especially students in their junior year or senior year, should begin researching and applying for scholarships as soon as possible.
