Intimate partner violence affects countless individuals, yet it often remains underrecognized and under-addressed. Its impact can be far-reaching, disrupting education, careers, relationships, and overall well-being. In order to meaningfully reduce intimate partner violence, more individuals must be committed to advocacy, education, and systemic change. Successful eradication of intimate partner violence will only come from meaningful change to inequitable social norms that harm us all, a monumental undertaking that will require impactful, evidence-based, collaborative, and creative approaches in all areas of society. This scholarship seeks to support students who are dedicated to pursuing a path in social justice and working to end intimate partner violence, in traditional and nontraditional ways.

Current undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in an accredited college or university are eligible to apply if they are pursuing a career in social justice and have demonstrated their dedication to ending intimate partner violence. They must also have a GPA of 3.3 or higher, demonstrate financial need, and have volunteering experience. Applicants should also have a strong history of leadership, community service, or volunteer work related to their commitment to social impact.

To apply, reflect on your personal background as well as your knowledge and experiences with existing initiatives dedicated to eradicating intimate partner violence, and explain how you intend to use your education to improve such efforts for greater impact in the future.
