These schools are similar to University of Colorado Denver/Anschutz Medical Campus in key aspects like size, setting, and academics.
100% of students
The people and staff are amazing, the buildings are always clean and organized, and if you need help of any kind there is always someone you can talk to. Overall, this school offers a lot of financial aid to students and doesn't make it hard to get.
The only thing I don't like is the availability of vegan options and healthy options. They can improve on having different fruits available and the same goes for vegan options.
I am currently attending CU Denver online since I transferred there during COVID and haven't been able to go back to the campus. The academics and professors are high-quality and I have absolutely adored my time even through zoom and online courses. Definitely would recommend it.
I think CU Denver could be better at communicating a student's audit and schedule needs in order to graduate. You just have to put more effort in to get information, but I feel like that's to be expected anywhere honestly.
The class building isn't too far apart and the wellness center is great for relaxing
There are not a lot of places to get school supplies on campus. There's a book store and that's it
I like that it is downtown and there is so much to do around the campus. There are so many places to visit within walking distance. Also, the biology department and teachers are amazing. The work is hard, but they really prepare you for success. TAs are amazing, I’ve never had a bad TA
There’s not much college culture. We’re definitely not a traditional college with sports teams or homecoming, etc. That’s what really sucks
The professors at this university are kind-hearted and actually want their students to succeed.
I feel like it's hard to have a social life, only because the campus is known to be a commuter school. Students come to school solely to learn and then leave. But there are lots of activities for socializing.
How hard it is to find classes.
