I liked the flexibility SCTCC offered me. I was able to take a lot of online classes that allowed me to do other things with my time. My professors were all very nice and helped me learn the material.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
I didn't love online learning when I had to teach myself the material. This didn't happen all the time, but when it did it was annoying.
This school was ok. But I found that if you don't know what you want to do for the rest of your life, take only generals and then decide what it is that you love to do. When you love what you're doing you're always excited about school and that makes all the difference in grades and wanting to go.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
The state qualifications for the course that I was taking changed right before I graduated so I didn't get my degree instead I got a certificate and they added more classes that I had to take if I wanted the degree. That was extremely upsetting to me.
I liked how the class sizes are smaller than a university so the relationship with the instructors and other students seems more personal. It gives much more openings for hands-on experience and outside experience.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
Because the class sizes are smaller, sometimes the more common classes fill up fast if you're not on top of your game for registration.
