The best thing was the wide variety of courses available that are fully distanced. I work full time and part-time so getting to class was what kept me away from continuing my education. Thankfully Northwest Vista has allowed me to take every single course online. The online community is very helpful and convenient. I have not felt let down by any professors or technology.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
I am a fully remote student, so there is some lag time with communication with professors and college staff.
It was a beautiful campus and the teachers were amazing for the most part. Most professors were very helpful. The campus provided many opportunities to be involved in the college community. I would 100% recommend this college.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
The advising team isn’t always that easy to get ahold of and sometimes they’re not that helpful.
The teachers were helpful and the students were very informative and determined to help others with any problem with the class or the college in general.
I loved the teachers. They both interact with the students and have flexible hours to ask questions. I learned a lot from all classes and it’s like a little community. 25 students usually fill a class which isn’t bad for each hour so the teacher can help you easier.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
Sometimes when you return a textbook it was a little complicated and they didn’t give me the return slip. Some teachers don’t respond to you right away.
While we do our best to show up-to-date information, due to COVID-19 and other factors out of our control, it is possible that the data we are showing about test requirements, application deadlines, and more, are inaccurate. Please verify with the college itself via their website to ensure you are aware of all requirements and deadlines.
