WHAT I LIKED

It's my first year at Moreno Valley College and so far so good! There are a lot of events on campus that give people a chance to connect like club rush. It's when all the campus clubs have an event that lets people hear about the clubs on campus. We played card games, won prizes, danced, sung, etc. It was really fun! There are also a couple different programs like UMOJA that help cover books, and help you transfer to other schools so that's cool. Overall, it's a chill environment 10/10.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

It takes a long time to hear from people. Your best bet is to skip phone calls because no one will answer and just go on campus.

WHAT I LIKED

It is a community college, allowing a cheaper start to your education, the college has many resources that one could use if struggling, either financially, mentally, academically, etc.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Some professors aren't the best at teaching, i.e math is a subject of struggle in the college meaning the professors aren't the best causing many students to take math courses at other community colleges.

WHAT I LIKED

Community college allowed me to save money as I could easily transfer from this college once I satisfied the credits I needed.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Sometimes classes would fill up quickly or certain classes would not be offered during some semesters. Certain professors were also sometimes strict and demeaning.

WHAT I LIKED

I like Moreno Valley College because it offers different courses and it helps eliminate the stigma that they teach you in high school against Community College. It makes the future feel more attainable and there are so many different resources for the students to use to better their future.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

If you don't ask you will not find out what new things exist. Don't be afraid. The world will open should you just decide to ask.
