Small class sizes, but the professors are very involved with students and make the learning experience more personal. Campus life and making friends is very easy with the orientation events.

WHAT I LIKED

I really liked the teachers at Concordia college. They always found a way to engage their students in learning and were very compassionate and understanding. The teachers take learning to a whole other level which is something that I think upcoming students would absolutely love and appreciate.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

One thing that I feel should be mentioned is that Concordia can be strict about paying off the tuition for each semester. If that isn't paid off or isn't at least under 1,200, the school can put holds on your record which keeps you from registering for classes for next semester. This is something I wish I had known about earlier down the line, but don't let that discourage you from applying to Concordia because it truly is an amazing school that will offer you the best education. Also, Concordia doesn't focus on ACT/SAT scores as a requirement and even offers scholarships for students' GPA.

WHAT I LIKED

Concordia is a small campus so every one of your professors gets to know you by name and it is super easy to get help when you need it because of the small class sizes. It is very easy to make friends at Concordia because everyone is super nice and super willing to get to know you.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

There is no A/C in any of the dorms except for one so if you are one that needs A/C, keep that in mind.

WHAT I LIKED

I honestly love the place. In the social aspect, it's very passive. I even made a friend by asking her to help me with a smore (I have heat sensitivity). It's very LGBT+ friendly. The academic portion is incredible too, my teachers always let me question deeper into their presented topics and even presented book recommendations in the past. Everything is accessible and there is free anything if you cannot afford it. What honestly more can I possibly ask for? 5 stars!

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

I get a lot of emails of crimes that happen near and on campus at night throughout the year. Just be careful I guess.
