I cannot really compare my education experience with another experience, but I found my time at Clemson tolerable with the right people.
I loved the area because it was surrounded by nature. There were moments of beauty and moments of dread but I made it. That is what I am the most proud of.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
The student population was 80% white. I was not comfortable and sometimes felt alienated.
My experience at Clemson so far has been great! I really enjoy the atmosphere and meeting other students. Some of the classes are really tough and require lots of studying. I'm sure it's like any other school but I really enjoy it!
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
So far I haven't found anything that I don't really like.
The students and faculty are one in a million. We are all essentially competing with each other for the same jobs which you would think would cause a rise in competition among us, but that's not the case here. Everyone wants you to succeed and offers opportunities to do so. They instantly made me feel a part of the Clemson family.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
The administration as a whole lacks communication and transparency with the student body.
While we do our best to show up-to-date information, due to COVID-19 and other factors out of our control, it is possible that the data we are showing about test requirements, application deadlines, and more, are inaccurate. Please verify with the college itself via their website to ensure you are aware of all requirements and deadlines.
