WHAT I LIKED

I fell in love with my campus as soon as I stepped foot on it. It's covered with trees and feels like I'm in a private little world. My department is small but all my professors are extremely dedicated. I applied as undeclared and all the workshops provided by undeclared advisors were a big help in finding my passion. I have felt nothing but support at this university. I love it.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

The only thing I don't like about the university is the administration's focus on hiring more administrators than more faculty members.

WHAT I LIKED

I like that when it comes to education, they display it really clear and convenient for students to find which courses they need to take to complete their degree. I like how they have the CPP Planner that can help in planning your courses and the Roadmap that can suggest which courses to take.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

When it comes to health records and transcripts, I would say send your transcripts to the admission as soon as possible. Same with the health records, continuously check with them in while to make sure that they receive everything.

WHAT I LIKED

Regarding Cal Poly Pomona, I like the variety of restaurants that are in close proximity to the university. Also, there are many places worth exploring around campus.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, prospective students should be aware that many restaurants have remained closed for a while. Also, the quality of the food has worsened due to the implications caused by a lack of employees and workers at certain restaurants. In a way, social life has been negatively impacted in recent years.
