My academic goal is to earn a degree in biology and biotechnology while completing the pre-medical track, building a strong foundation in molecular biology, genetics, physiology, and applied research. I am particularly interested in understanding how biological systems function at both the cellular and systemic levels, and how biotechnological innovations can be used to improve disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Through coursework, laboratory experience, and research opportunities, I aim to develop the analytical and technical skills necessary to translate scientific knowledge into meaningful healthcare solutions. My interest in biotechnology stems from its ability to bridge discovery and application. Advances in genetic testing, molecular diagnostics, and targeted therapies have transformed the way diseases are identified and managed, and I am eager to contribute to this rapidly evolving field. Academically, I hope to engage in research that explores how emerging biotechnologies can improve early detection and personalized treatment strategies, particularly for chronic and life-altering conditions.
