Being a student at The University of Southern Mississippi opened doors for my career in entertainment and gave me a well-rounded view of the responsibilities and expectations in the job market. I highly recommend the Media and Entertainment Arts program to anyone looking to break into the entertainment industry.

My education experience thus far with the University of Southern Mississippi has been very great. The professors that I have had are very helpful and are always available for any questions or concerns you might have. They also offered many ways to study or to be properly prepared for a test or exam. Overall, I would definitely say my educational experience with Usm has been very beneficial.
Personally, I do not have anything I do not like about USM, I love the environment, the professors, and the overall just atmosphere. While attending here I have had the wonderful privilege of meeting lots of new people who have made my experience ten times better and have made campus feel like home.
The university of southern Mississippi college of nursing has the best faculty and staff. Teachers are interactive, approachable, and understanding. They’re willing to help every set of the way and as long as you meet them halfway they’ll try to guide you through with as much support as they can. I love USM and I highly recommend it to any student who is interested in college and especially nursing.
There seems to be a lack of clear communication in general, but this is gonna be a common finding at many universities. The parking here is inadequate and highly expensive. The campus also floods really badly.
I loved the amount of diversity that I saw on campus. As a music major, I was almost strictly secluded in one area on campus. However, through extracurricular activities, I was able to meet a variety of people and see all of the amazing things going on around the university. Another thing that I enjoyed was how invested the educators on campus were with their students. The number of resources available to students to help them succeed was mind-boggling at times. At the end of the day, I'm proud to be a Golden Eagle!
There were a few instances of issues that were not resolved or addressed promptly. Sometimes it takes screaming from the top of your lungs to make your voice heard.
