Carlos E. Reid was a beloved father who passed away 25 years ago. He was a proud Panamanian whose smile would brighten and liven up everyone when he entered the room.

Carlos worked as a bellhop and doorman at a Sheraton hotel throughout his life and had a love for music. Carlos would have wanted to leave behind a legacy of helping disadvantaged students pursue their dreams by attending college. 

In order to enhance and enlighten student's lives, educational growth and passion for music or the arts, this scholarship aims to support students with financial need in honor Carlos E. Reid.

Any high school or undergraduate student that has at least a 3.0 GPA, and majoring in the Arts may apply for this scholarship.
