The professors are great. The environment and fellow students make you feel welcome and positive. There are always events going on, a very social environment.
Since COVID has decreased, the campus has been a lot more enjoyable. There have been a lot more events and social opportunities that were unavailable during the 2020-2021 academic year.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
The chemistry department is very interesting, to say the least, so if you're interested in taking any type of chemistry class or majoring in chemistry, I would NOT suggest the USA. Housing is also slightly overpriced unless you're staying in the freshmen-only residence halls or the apartment-style residence halls on campus. The dining hall is hit or miss.
It is very diverse. Also, there is always something going on, which keeps things interesting. Everyone is really friendly and that is really nice, especially for incoming freshmen.
I love my University! It is an amazing place with tons of ethnic diversity and demographics. We have tons of campus activities and there is something for everyone!
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
It is a very large campus. I suggest you have your schedule made to have as many classes close together as possible. The distance can be daunting.
