The campus is beautiful, not too big but not too small. The school overall is amazing!
The only thing I disliked was the lack of salting and plowing the snow in the winter
I loved nature. UNH - Durham is a beautiful campus. I was in the honors program so there was plenty of rigor. I did not partake in the parties but UNH has a very vibrant social scene. It is a great all-around school. Also a big party school. If you can get good financial aid/scholarships - a great deal.
Big party school. That's a neutral statement. Also, UNH is incredibly expensive. I believe it is one of the most expensive in-state schools in the U.S. On the plus side - good aid for out-of-staters.
With a big school like UNH, you have the ability to change your major if you need to and to pursue and discover other interests through all of the student organizations. There are plenty of places to get work as well to help you pay for school. The dining is top-notch. Durham is a beautiful perfect town and closes to the awesome city of Portsmouth. You get both lots of trees and get to be near the ocean. It was a perfect choice for me.
UNH tries, but it isn't as diverse as some other schools. Tuition is one of the highest for state schools. Freshmen are not allowed cars on campus.
The campus is easy to navigate. The buildings and halls are generally well maintained and modern. If you put in the effort to get involved, you can have a great experience.
Upper management can tend to treat us like high school-aged kids sometimes.
I enjoyed the beautiful campus of vast trees and brick buildings along with the welcoming environment on campus. Whether it be on the streets, in the gym, or in a building, everyone on campus is very friendly and open to answering questions. People here are friendly and this creates a wonderful environment.
I do not like the Student Accessibility Service because they have not been as helpful as I expected a college to have. I have trouble getting the accommodations I need.
I like everything about UNH. The campus is a decent size and is super pretty, especially in the winter. Also, there is always a lot to do on campus as well as off-campus. For example, UNH students can ride the bus for free to the mall or downtown Portsmouth for the day.
Honestly, there is nothing about UNH that I dislike.
