This campus is very welcoming and inviting to all students. Whether you live on campus or off, there are always activities and events to allow students to get to know one another, have great experiences, and relax. In addition, the classes and professors at UNK are great! Small classes and attentive, respective, and helpful teachers really ensure your success and help you feel heard and cared about!

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Living off-campus, finding parking was always a pain. But, this is an issue at most schools. Also, it felt like UNK was constantly doing renovations and constructions...which is a good thing on one hand, but was also frustrating and annoying at times.

Despite the fact that this is my first semester, the personnel there are really friendly, reply quickly, and are always willing to assist. I am a socially uncomfortable person who finds it difficult to ask people for help, but that has never been an issue at Kearney, and strangely enough, I have never felt embarrassed when asking for aid. Furthermore, the lecturers are quite helpful and kind, and they make their course schedule and requirements simple to follow. UNK is an underrated institution, and as an international student, I wish that more students enroll because they have made me feel at home.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Nothing much really. Despite the good course, students should be aware of how quickly the semester goes by and how important it is to keep track of their work.
