My number 1 praise that I give to PNW is the availability and help they offer to make sure you succeed- from enrollment to staff members and professors. They all go above and beyond for their students.
So far my only "negative" would be they don't have fully online programs which would be super helpful for students like myself that are full-time workers, wives, & mothers.
I really like the school and they have a great medical program. I want to be a medical examiner, so having a good medical program for a master's degree and a criminal justice program for my bachelor's made them stand out.
I didn't really notice anything yet that I don't like.
Purdue University Northwest has a very welcoming environment for students and staff from all backgrounds. I almost always have very engaging conversations in my classes with my peers regarding the lesson and topics discussed that day. There are many places to study on campus and there are many resources available for help. My teachers make me feel supported in my academics because they are always willing to help me with my work. I would describe all my professors as well-spoken and professional.
I really like Purdue northwest because not only are the students there willing to help you, the academic advisor team has been exceptional with me transferring to this college.
Just always be mindful of what credits transfer.
There are many great nursing professors at Purdue University Northwest who truly care about their students and their success in nursing school. There are some politics within the program that dampen your experience, but overall, PNW has been a great school!
The nursing school board do not listen to the concerns and wishes of the students very well when it comes to complaints about professors and/or fair grading.
