I liked that eastern gave a home feel.
The professors in my program are wonderful! I also have had several amazing professors for gen eds. I love how diverse campus life is here. There are hundreds of clubs to join and events/activities constantly happening across campus.
Campus can be somewhat unsafe at night, especially for women. Please make sure if you go out at night you are not alone! Also, I had a bad experience with the dining hall food at EMU. There was a living bug in my spinach!
I like the diversity and the different clubs all tailored to fit anyone's interests, my favorite is the Spanish department, all the professors are nice and very informative.
I don't like the amount of police presence on campus.
You need to really think through and choose the right instructors because some of them are terrible and so boring
I think EMU is a very diverse campus with lots to offer for everyone
EMU has great support systems for everyone.
I loved on campus my freshman year and really enjoyed it. I met many friends and was a part of the softball club as well. There usually was plenty of parking even if you had to walk a mile. The food was okay, some places were better than others. I did enjoy my time at EMU both living and class-wise.
The dorms were very small but that is to be expected. The water pressure in the showers wasn't great either. I wasn’t a fan of the parking because of the walking distance in the winter.
