WHAT I LIKED

Cameron University has been overall a great experience. I'm just a freshman in college never thought I'd be doing this after being out of school for 20 years and 3 kids later but it's worth it because I can show them that if you want something then work hard for it, it doesn't matter what your situation you can be someone you what to be. So it's a struggle sometimes but my professors are easy to talk to and are ready to help you with getting refreshers on studies you don't understand.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Good teaching, willing to work with you, nice facilities.

WHAT I LIKED

Cameron is a very affordable college in southwest Oklahoma but there could be many changes made that would make it much much better than it currently is. To start the on-campus living situation needs to be worked on. The dorms are not of good quality and it's cheaper to live off-campus than on campus. The food in the cafeteria is ok and will suffice most of the time. There isn't a whole lot of student life like there was 20 years ago like they keep trying to advertise. Greek life here is a pain as there are only a few organizations and they don't have any houses either. The academics are the only thing that's actually really good because most of the professors do actually care about you and truly do want to see you succeed.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

the student life isn't that good, dorms are overpriced for what you get, the food is okay
