Becoming a mom is a life-changing experience, and at a young age, it can bring unique challenges. Less than 2% of teen mothers earn a bachelor's degree by age 30. This scholarship believes that motherhood shouldn't mean giving up on your dreams, and that young moms deserve a strong support system to help them thrive.

This scholarship is more than just financial aid; it's a commitment to supporting ambitious teen mothers on their journey to educational success. Balancing childcare, finances, and education can feel overwhelming. This scholarships hopes to provide a helping hand and empower you to reach your full potential.

This scholarship seeks to support young, teenage mothers so they can further their education and achieve their educational goals. 

Any high school student or recent high school graduate who’s a teen mom may apply for this scholarship if they’re a Washington or Oregon resident. Students residing in these five counties in the Columbia River Gorge in Washington or Oregon: Wasco, Hood River, Klickitat, Sherman, or Gilliam, are highly preferred.
