In some cases, fibroids can cause anemia, infertility, and even excessive bleeding. Lauren's Story

This scholarship is close to my heart because I have battled severe uterine fibroids and polyps for many years. I’ve faced the significant burden of limited treatment options, which has made this cause deeply personal to me. That’s why this scholarship holds such importance—it aims to support those who, like me, are affected by these conditions.

My Beyond the Cycle Initiative is a Movement for Uterine Health, Education, and Women’s Well-Being. My goal is about advancing awareness, research and treatment options for women affected by endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and polyps. Through education, scholarships and advocacy, I work to empower women to better understand their health and support future medical professionals dedicated to advancing care in this field
