Entrepreneurship is one of the most powerful mechanisms for improving the world.
Through their unique vision, tenacity, and commitment to improving all aspects of society, entrepreneurs are uniquely positioned to solve hard problems that improve the quality of people's lives at scale.
As one small way to promote more entrepreneurship, the Amplify Young Entrepreneurs Scholarship will be awarded to a current or aspiring entrepreneur.
The scholarship is open to students and non-students from any field of study. The only requirement is that you would like to create a better world through entrepreneurship. If you’re already building a business while in school, please share what you’re building.
To apply, please share a short video about your entrepreneurial dreams.
This scholarship is part of a 12-part, AMPLIFY Scholarship Series, spanning topics including women in tech, continuous learning, environmental science, and more. These scholarships are announced quarterly and awarded monthly throughout 2021.
The application deadline is Aug 15, 2021. Winners will be announced on Aug 31, 2021.
Award amounts per winner are designated by the donor. Check the award amount for a detailed breakdown.
The winner will be publicly announced on Aug 31, 2021. Prior to the announcement date, we may contact finalists with additional questions about their application. We will work with donors to review all applications according to the scholarship criteria. Winners will be chosen based on the merit of their application.
Award checks will be sent to the financial aid office of the winner's academic institution or future academic institution in their name to be applied to their tuition, and in the name of their institution (depending on the school's requirements). If the award is for a qualified educational non-tuition expense, we will work with the winner directly to distribute the award and make sure it goes towards qualified expenses.
Before we award the scholarship, the winner will be required to confirm their academic enrollment status. Depending on the circumstances, verification of Student ID and/or their most recent transcript will be required.
