A Grandmother's Love Single Mom Scholarship
Balancing parenthood and higher education is no easy task, bringing with it a lot of stress, responsibility, and financial difficulty.
The everyday expenses of raising a child are significant, and adding the costs of tuition, textbooks, and academic materials can make the journey even more challenging. As a result, many parents, especially single parents, sacrifice their dreams and put off their pursuit of further education. Education has the power to transform lives, and I believe that supporting single mothers in their academic pursuits can create lasting positive impacts for families and communities alike.
This scholarship seeks to empower deserving single mothers by helping them access the educational resources they need to succeed academically while building a better future for themselves and their children.
Any single mother who is an undergraduate or graduate student with at least a 2.7 GPA may apply for this scholarship opportunity.

The winner will be publicly announced on Oct 31, 2026. Prior to the announcement date, we may contact finalists with additional questions about their application. We will work with donors to review all applications according to the scholarship criteria. Winners will be chosen based on the merit of their application.
Award checks will be sent to the financial aid office of the winner's academic institution or future academic institution in their name to be applied to their tuition, and in the name of their institution (depending on the school's requirements). If the award is for a qualified educational non-tuition expense, we will work with the winner directly to distribute the award and make sure it goes towards qualified expenses.
Before we award the scholarship, the winner will be required to confirm their academic enrollment status. Depending on the circumstances, verification of Student ID and/or their most recent transcript will be required.
