When my friend and mentor Melanie France passed away, I wanted to do something to honor her spirit. She was fun, spunky, brave, generous, funny and just a true light in the Tarot community. With this scholarship, I not only hope to recognize her contribution to my life and the lives of so many others, but to also create something special for the young adults who don't fit the classic scholarship mold.
