College tuition has dramatically increased during the last few decades, leaving many students wary of investing in higher education.

Tuition and fees vary based on the type of school, with the average public in-state college costing $10,338 while private colleges cost an average of $38,185. These high prices have left 45 million Americans with student debt, collectively owing $1.7 trillion.

This scholarship aims to support high school and undergraduate students so they can feel confident about affording the college of their dreams.

Any committed and hardworking high school or undergraduate student may apply for this scholarship.

To apply, briefly introduce yourself in a creative but accurate way.

Jodi Velez

She was the first completed creation from the egg that originated from Peru, accompanied by the other half from the island of Puerto Rico on April 11, 2005. Her dark brown curls would dance when she lifted her black pen, eagerly scribbling her prose onto her cerulean notebook. If you let the pages run through your fingers, she wrote about the inequality towards women, discrimination towards people of color, and mental health. From the day she wrote in preschool, Jodi Velez did not end this sudden passion. She scoured for inspiration in unlikely locations, yearning to use that for her future published manuscript.
