Liz's Bee Kind Scholarship
“Gentileza Gera Gentileza”, or “kindness begets kindness”, is a phrase that’s increasingly important today.
If the past year has taught us anything, it’s that nothing is guaranteed and we must not take the good things in our lives for granted. Expressing kindness is one of the most important ways to show gratitude for your own life as well as the lives of those around you.
Just think of a time when you’ve been at your worst until someone said or did something nice for you. Wasn’t your day that little bit better afterward? No matter how small or large, any act of kindness can mean everything at the right moment.
As a way to spread kindness and encourage students across the country to do the same, Liz’s Bee Kind Scholarship will be awarded to one student in any field of study who understands the importance of kindness and does their best to spread it whenever they can.
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a high school or undergraduate student. To apply, please write about a time when someone was kind to you and it meant a lot to you at that time. As a bonus, share the essay with the person if you can!
