Every student should be able to pursue the education and career of their dreams, regardless of their background or financial status.

Unfortunately, money can be a limiting factor that prevents many students from pursuing their dreams. There are many bright students with big goals who are full of potential but unable to achieve their dreams due to financial limitations. BIPOC students in particular are often financially disadvantaged, making it even harder for racial minorities to reach their goals.

This scholarship seeks to support underrepresented minority students who have big dreams or goals for their future.

Any BIPOC high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student may apply for this scholarship.

To apply, tell us about your dream or goal for life in three sentences or less.

My dreams revolve around a core concept which is to uplift those around me through my volunteer work, my medical knowledge as a soon to be medical provider and by openly talking about the struggles as a Latina and first generation college student. I hope to one day start a scholarship fund and organization for Latinas in medicine, impact as many lives as possible during my time on this earth and hope that those lives will prosper and continue to pass on the wisdom, kindness and love that is needed for our communities to succeed in this life.
