Dr. Junior Gentles’ life was defined by resilience and a deep belief in the power of education to change lives. 

Throughout his career, he faced challenges with courage and perseverance, using education as a way to grow, adapt, and uplift others. He believed that access to education should not be limited by financial circumstances, and he knew that small acts of generosity can create a lasting impact.

This scholarship seeks to honor the legacy of Dr. Junior Gentles by supporting students who share his spirit and are working hard to build a better future, even when the path is difficult. 

Any BIPOC undergraduate student who is pursuing computer science or information technology may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
