Deitra L. King was a loving aunt and mother who tragically passed away due to domestic violence.
Throughout her life, Deitra was resourceful, compassionate, and committed to helping others and strengthening her community. She would have wanted to leave behind a legacy of helping young students pursue their goals.
This scholarship seeks to honor the life of Deitra L. King by supporting students who display the same qualities and values that she did throughout her life.
